Start your conference experience with an excursion to one of the many aviation sites in Hamburg on the day before the conference (Dec 09). Take a look inside the Airbus or Lufthansa Technik facilities or visit the Center of Applied Aeronautical Research. Bring your questions, get inspired and make valuable contacts in the industry!
At the following pre-networking event at the venue, you can round off the evening in a laid-back atmosphere and make new contacts.

Final assembly of the A320 family as well as parts for A330 and A350.
Hamburg – the headquarters for Airbus Commercial Aircraft activities in Germany, and the biggest Airbus location in Germany – plays a central role in the development and manufacturing of all Airbus jetliners. Airbus operation adjacent at Hamburg-Finkenwerder Airport is the third-largest site in the civil aviation industry worldwide. Structural assembly; the equipping of fuselage sections; final assembly, and also the entire A320 jetliner family’s program management are handled in Hamburg.

More than 7,000 employees work on the premises which are spread out over more than 750,000 square meters: a city within the city with numerous hangars, workshops and office buildings. Here, more than 500 engineers specialized in various fields of aeronautical engineering invent cabin solutions, improve repair methods or enhance processes, to name just a few.
