Whenever I see a flight attendant wearing six-inch stilettos and walking through the terminal like Beyoncé, I can’t help but think she’s single and looking. Not that that’s a bad thing! I’m just saying. I’m also saying it’s nearly impossible finding shoes that are comfortable and also fashionable, which is why the quest for the perfect flight attendant shoe just never ends. On a layover last week I found myself at the Amazon website on the hunt for a new pair of in flight shoes, something to change into right after take-off. I was determined to find something that would not only look cute with a navy blue skirt, but also navy blue trousers. Here’s what I found….
I’ve been obsessed with Clarks shoes for a while now. The first time I spotted these bendable, black, leather, Mary Jane’s were on a flight attendant at 30,000 feet. I asked if they were comfortable and if i could try them on and she agreed. They were awesome, so comfortable and looked good too. So I went to amazon and bought it. No problem there, infact I got it at a better price from Amazon than the price at the retail store so i was very happy with my decesion plus did not have to waste extra time as it was delivered to my door step. I had planned to only wear the Clarks through the airport terminal and then change into more comfortable shoes during flight, but because I accidentally left my ”in-flight shoes“ behind on an airplane on day one of my five-day reserve rotation. So I had to wear it for 4 days and it turned out to be the most comfortable shoes i have ever worn. I was really impressed with it and deceided to change all my other brands which I would wear to a the airport to Clarke's too. These are my shortlisted shoes. Have a look. I have added the link so that you don't fave to go hunting for it all over the net. Just click on any of the links and it will take you to the page. if you do not like a particular shoe you can select from a wide range of Clarke's available. Hope you like it. Please do add your feedback. RE: The Most Comfortable Shoes For A Flight Attendant
We're a shoe retailer in Las Vegas. When I read your post I was concerned by the type of shoes you are wearing for flying. Clarks is a large brand indeed. However, their quality is not suitable for flying even though they may feel comfortable. We're all about comfort but the issue is function. A good shoe should not have the ability to bend half way in the middle and fold like a tortilla. It should only bend where you propulse off the ball of your feet. It should also not torque left and right at the mid-section and it should have a strong heel counter and arch support. Most Clark shoes are not well constructed even if they feel comfortable. My partner is a Podiatrist and well-trained in the bio-mechanics of footwear and the foot itself. To really support your feet look to Aetrex, Klogs or Timberland Pro series with an anti-fatigue insole. Also, invest in a good arch support like the Aetrex Lynco Sport series L400. http://www.DrFootsies.com
